Eventually is the Key Word

Well, I did feel good yesterday.  I cleared part of our patio and made it look quite pleasant.  I even tackled some of the ironing last night. 

I say some.  We got the children to bed at a reasonable time of 7.45 and I headed downstairs to set everything up.  What I hadn’t bargained for was one of my children being woken up 3 times by noises outside and coming downstairs for comfort.

At 10.30 pm I ended up downing tools and taking him and myself off to bed, after we’d had a plate of toast between us and a drink. 

Three nights running my plans have been scuppered, so I am even more determined to have time with my husband tonight to have our chat.

I have also started the day being very positive about everything and generally chatting and smiling at anyone who looks my way (or is that freaky?).
