Well, the week got better in one sense and not in another.  I developed a charming cold which resulted in me acquiring a husky voice.

Okay to me it sounded husky, to everyone else I veered between a seal impression, a dog barking and a mouse.

It wouldn’t have been so bad, if I hadn’t have had to answer the phone!  Goodness knows what impression I gave, but the rate of calls did go up!  - only joking.

If this is what having an air conditioned office is all about you can keep it.  Although in fairness not only were cold’s prevalent in the office, one of my children also had a chesty cold. So I couldn’t really escape it.

The week got better because I earned the title "The Fastest Filer in the West"  for my speedy filing.  Who says I filed it all correctly?  

Actually at work I am a bit of a quality and organisational freak.  Now if only I can apply that to the tip that has become my home I can earn the title of Superwoman.   Yeah right.

Plus despite being full of cold, I braved the horrible windy and wet weather to have dinner with my two best friends.  So glad I made the effort. 

It always relaxes me when I see them, plus it was the Birthday of one of them, so always a good excuse for a meal and big hugs.

And the really big thing is, I have now completed 3 weeks of my 12 week stint in the world of ‘real work’ - hurray.
