Well considering I had to take two days off work at the beginning of the week (that cold went to my glands and head!), by the end of the week I was still up to date with my work in my new employment.

I also had a lovely surprise from my mom who met me for lunch yesterday.  We had a picnic in the park and took her dog for a walk.  It was very childish of me, but I didn’t want to go back to work, I wanted to go home with my mommy!

Speaking of childish, take a look at Emma’s Dilemmas.  She’s written a lovely piece about children for me this week.  I can so relate to it!

Anyway, I did go to the doctors on Monday, but not about the cold.  I have reached that point in life where things have started to wear out . . slowly . . but nevertheless wearing out!

I have been suffering with back ache for some time and decided to finally do something about it.  This afternoon (how efficient is that by the NHS?) I am off for an x-ray.  Must make sure I get my clean pants ready for later and make sure they are decent ones. 

At least I can start to get it sorted.  Not that I can really rest it at the moment!

I am then taking the opportunity for some me-time to get some shopping done.  So looking forward to that.
