For me the funniest moment has to be David trying to confess his murders with no success.

The moment that made me cringe and shout eewww was when David’s mom fed him chewed up sausages.

There’s also a poll at the bottom of the home page for you to say whether or not Psychoville should be made into a second series, please vote.

Not sure if it ended how I was expecting and therefore not sure if I’m satisfied. That said, it still had good twists and turns, great humour, suberb acting (David singing is a highlight) and ends with a potential new story.

Apart from Robert, Kerry and David everyone else arrives at Ravenhill Hospital. This includes the elderly lady handcuffed to Mr Jelly and Oscar’s new helper.

Oscar’s new helper who was wearing red ends up being mistaken by Joy as little Freddie all grown up! David tries to confess his murders at (I think) the Citizens Advice Bureau which is really funny.

We also see Mr Jelly in a cringeworthy moment in the public toilets.

Oscar who arrives to help Tea Leaf throws Snappy the Crocodile over the cliff. Apparently it’s his therapy. Once he throws it away, he knows it will turn up somewhere again and the whole ritual of trying to buy it will start again.

We get a flashback of the inmates of Ravenhill being asked to practice a song and David gets tasered by Edwina Kenchington, the matron. After several tasers, David loses it and pushes her backwards. Thinking she’s dead the inmates douse the room and set it on fire.

David is seen at Edwina’s grave saying sorry when he hears her voice calling out to him. He digs down to her coffin to reveal she is not in it, she is actually alive and standing behind him. She gets upset when she can’t find something she’s looking for and she shoots David who is saved because he’s holding a water melon.

Her son, who turns out to be Mr Jolly, the one who has taken over Mr Jelly’s customers, is the one who has lured them all to Ravenhill. He is about to unleash his revenge when his mother turns up. She wasn’t dead after all. He’s taken aback because of his mother turning the events around when she starts asking who has her locket. Mr Jolly then undoes his coat to reveal he has a bomb strapped to him and the timer showing 8 seconds.

Meanwhile as this story has unfolded, Robert and Kerry are stranded in the woods as her car runs out of petrol. They leave the car and spot a cottage with smoke coming from the house and the lights on. They enter the house and Robert starts to eat some soup that has been left on the table while Kerry phones for help from this seemingly empty house.

As Robert sips the soup he notices the phone line is not connected and asks Kerry who she is talking to. At this point she shouts out that she needs help from her Grandma, who is a witch and obviously lives in the cottage.

Robert then passes out from drinking the soup which has been drugged. We are left with Robert lying on the table with Kerry cutting away his shirt to reveal the locket!

Who is Kerry, who is her Grandma and what fate is in store for Robert? We’ll obviously and hopefully have to wait for the second series.

NB – go to the homepage, bottom right hand side and vote if you think there should be a second series.

Psychoville – the penultimate episode has almost brought the characters together at Ravenshill Hospital.

Joy has kidnapped Nicola (who conspired with her husband last week to scare her) taken her to Ravenshill and is using her to give Freddie a blood transfusion.

Joy lost baby Paul some years ago and was sent to the hospital where they gave her baby Freddie to help her.

David’s mother finally finds out that David never actually committed a murder after talking to Lorraine who was to be her next victim.

She goes home and tries to murder David after taking an overdose of pills, but discovers that David has put a dummy in his bed. In actual fact David is on his way to Ravenshill.

Mr Jolly is murdered and the killer tries to frame Mr Jelly, who actually has an alibi after being at an old people’s home doing his act.

Robert the dwarf finds out that he doesn’t have the telekinetic powers, it’s his friend Kelly who has the powers. She has always let him believe he had them but in actual fact did it to protect him. This comes out after Robert lies to Debbie and tells her that they’re engaged after going out together for 2 years and he refuses to tell the truth when Kelly confronts him and Debbie.

Tea Leaf manages to escape from the twins with the money and is also drawn to Ravenshill where Snappy the Crocodile is waiting for him but he ends up locked in a room. He phones Oscar Lomax to let him know where he is.

The finale is approaching next week, but boo to the BBC for saying that you could see the last episode straight after tonights – after pressing the red button as informed, nothing happened. Now got to wait a whole week to find out all the answers.

Still thinking David has committed a real murder, his mother is encouraging him to dispose of all the ‘witnesses’ who are in fact the other actors from the murder mystery where David did his ‘bad murder’.

By this he means that it didn’t go well not that he actually killed someone.

Last night’s episode took Maureen and David to a wax works museum where they were attempting to be rid of another cast member in the ’serial killers’ section of the museum. Very disturbing, but when the cast member in question turns up, he is actually full of praise for David finding such an excellent venue. Does he get killed?

Meanwhile, Joy Aston returns home from a night out with her husband. Her nurse friend from work is seen babysitting ‘Freddie’.

While her husband takes the babysitter home, Joy starts hearing Freddie calling her over the baby monitor. A series of events follows with Joy falling down the stairs and ultimately having a heart attack – or has she?

This is not my usual kind of viewing, but while it has a very dark storyline the comedy aspects in it are brilliant. For example, Mr Jolly (the clown who is trying to take over Mr Jelly’s career) having his clown car repaired at the road side in the background while a conversation is being held between the two clowns.

An unusual, slightly disturbing comedy, but intriguing and still makes you want to see what happened next.

Written by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, League of Gentlemen fame.

This is the kind of show that makes me want to peek through my fingers while watching and at the same time laugh out loud at the comedy side.

The gist: Five characters across the UK receive a mysterious letter stating ‘I know what you did’

Seemingly unrelated these five individuals which include: A blind recluse with an unusual hobby, a telekinetic dwarf, an embittered clown, a murder-obsessed man-child, and a deranged but caring midwife all receive the same ominous message sending their already bizarre lives into turmoil.

All are affected in different ways by the letters and as more chilling messages are received the five are forced to confront their past and the secret that binds them together. But what is the link?

The Characters

Maureen Sowerbutts played by Reece Shearsmith

Mother to David Sowerbutts and lives in a flat with him in Wood Green. She encourages him learning all there is to know about serial killers, by reading regular stories to him. David supposedly killed his father when he was a child by putting 39 sleeping tablets in his Smash. He thought he was helping him, but did he really kill him?

Maureen also got the wrong end of the story when David came home and told his mom ‘he’d done a bad murder’, he meant the way the Murder Mystery went awry, Maureen thinks he’s actually killed someone.
